Reyes had his 1st check up for jaundice 3 days after birth. He weighs 3.5kg! Well done little boy!
Dr Chan said that he had very mild janudice and needed a tan. Mommy knew exactly what to do! Mommy and the confinement auntie stripped me to the bare minimal and tape my eyes with cotton wool and surgical tape. I was still very skinny then... I promise to show you muscles soon!
I also broke out on an episode of rash. The rash went from bad to worse as my first month celebrations approaches and it worries Daddy and Mommy if i was in great itch! They took me to see Dr Lee at Mt Elizabeth and she assured them that it was normal as newborn has weaker immune system. She advise that the rash would go away on its own... and true enough, i was handsome once again on my first month party!
Daddy and Mommy had made plans way before i was born to do a similar first month party as Jie Jie Gwenneth. Nasi Briyani! Mommy also sourced for other options to make my party special! We had rojak, popiah and satay too!
Mommy took pictures of me and chose the most yan dao one and made it into little neo prints to stick onto my red eggs! I was born just in time to collect ang pows!
My umbilical cord dropped off on 23rd Febuary 2010. Three weeks after birth! Took soooo long! It worries Mommy cause usually babies only take 1-2 weeks!
I weigh 4.6kg at my first month checkup.
Reyes was shaved bald by mommy. Mommy is always brave enough to do squirmish things like shaving my head with a naked blade and also trimming my tiny tiny nails
